{The Collections}
Seven carefully edited chapters from a lifetime in the field. Every photograph is selected for its subject, story, and place in the archive.

Motion, machinery, and flight captured with patience.

Places shaped by light, distance, and memory.

Night skies gathered one exposure at a time.

Birds, branches, silhouettes, and stillness.

American symbols seen through atmosphere and motion.

Western North Carolina ridges, quiet water, mountain weather, and field notes from home.

The quiet frames that resist easy classification.

A field archive shaped by flight, travel, and a lifetime behind the lens.
Bill "Pinch" Paisley's photographs come from a life spent watching the world from unusual angles. As a former Navy Flight Officer, he flew off carriers in the Mediterranean — not at the controls, but in the back seat of an F-14, running the radar, the navigation, and the looking. Especially the looking.
That career took him across the Atlantic, over the pyramids, past Stonehenge, and eventually to a quiet ridge in the mountains of Western North Carolina at 4,000 feet. Paisley Prints gathers the images from all of it — aviation, astrophotography, landscapes, wildlife, and the quiet moments that held still long enough to be preserved.
His father studied under Ansel Adams in Monterey. His first real camera was a Minolta X370 that once survived a carrier landing at speed. The eye that learned to see then has been at work ever since.
{The Paper}
Every print is chemically processed on Fuji Crystal Archive — archival life exceeding one hundred years.
"This is the paper I reach for when the image has atmosphere — mist over a river bend, the soft gradient of a pre-dawn sky above a runway, the particular silver of the Milky Way at 3 a.m. The pearl surface catches light differently depending on where you hang it. It breathes."
"My go-to for aviation work and anything with deep contrast. The subtle texture keeps glare off the surface so you can read the detail in the shadows — a tail number, the exhaust stain on a cowling, the tight formation silhouetted against a cloudy Virginia sky. This is the standard in professional printing for a reason."
"Bold and straightforward. When a flag print needs to feel like a flag — vivid, declarative, no apologies — glossy is the answer. The color saturation is exceptional. It's the finish that makes a statement from across the room."
All paper is acid-free and chemically processed — not inkjet. Each print ships flat, tissue-wrapped, and ready to mount or frame. Archival life exceeds 100 years under normal display conditions.
